cant transfer pictures from my galaxy s6 to my computer anymore
With the Marshmallow update, the default USB mode is charging only. Pull down the notification shade and tap where it says Connected for Charging, then change it to Transferring Media Files.
try gmail and onedrive. you can upload to onedrive then gmail can grab from the cloud and attach links up to one gig in size, or connect an usb adapter to micro slot then use sdcard to upload, or painfully email 3 pics ata time.OR REINSTALL USB DRIVERS FOR YOUR DEVICE THEN USB CONECT OR USE BLUETOOTH.
