How Can I Contact Verizon When I'm Out Of The Country?

LOST MY iPHONE IN MEXICO. I cannot reach any 800 or 844 number with my Verizon International Plan for US, Canada and Mexico. Can anyone give me a non toll free number for Verizon Customer Service??

I just spent one hour and 15 minutes logging into My Verizon account. Then I spent another hour trying to call the international numbers for dialing Verizon out of the country. What gives?? This happened on October 4. Today is October 11 and I've tried every day to resolve this issue; all to no avail. Very disappointed with Verizon.

The number given did not work for me in Aruba. I purhcased a Travel Plan with Verizon and it is not working.

We always want to know as soon as possible if you needed help with something while traveling. The phone number that was previously charged, 908.559.4899 , would need to be dialed via landline and will involve toll charges. However, what exactly is happening with your phone while in Aruba? Has it worked at all since leaving the U.S.?

I have been having the same problem in Greece. If we lose cell phone service, we need a computer-friendly way to contact a live Verizon person for help. It is counter productive to require account numbers and texting for two-factor identification, because without my cell phone on the road I don't have access to these. Also a landline help number is little help since they are hard to access while traveling. Please create a user-friendly help function for travelers.
