Galaxy S5 Stuck In Reboot Cycle

My Galaxy S5 gets stuck in a reboot cycle, continuing until the phone overheats and dies. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Also, the speaker crackles and the micro-sd card keeps getting ejected electrically. I have tried even doing a factory reset and the problem persists. Have any recommendations on how it should be fixed, or should it just be replaced?

Suggestions. Run the Verizon Wireless Software Repair Assistant and see if this helps. If not, you may want to contact Samsung about what options they have for an out of warranty replacement and/or repair. I think they offer some sort of warranty as well although I'm not sure if you can add it on older model devices after the fact or not.

I have used the Verizon Wireless Software Repair Assistant in the past, which seemed to help for a while, but the issue came back. The phone got worse since I posted, not even turning on. I think I'll just get a new phone. Thanks for the help.

No problem. Good luck. I know the S5 had a good long run but you'll be much more happy, in my opinion, with a new phone. The S7 is real solid if you go with another Samsung.
