It used to be on keyboard for talk to text, it's not there
Depending on the keyboard you're using ... Long-press the key just to the right of the Sym key and you should get a pop-up where you can toggle the mic, clipboard, and Settings.
I use that feature all of the time too, twokuhns. Let’s get that back on your keyboard and find a solution. What make/model phone are you using? What kind of keyboard? What are you seeing in place of where the icon used to be? Keep us posted.
