More Everything: Month-to-Month & DPP

I am on the More Everything Plan with a month-to-month discount of $25 ($40 - $25 = $15). If I buy a new device on a Device Payment Plan, will I still receive a $25 discount? When I go to buy the device online, it shows that my other lines are still at the month-to-month price of $15, but the new DPP line is now $40/month.

I have read that you no longer offer month-to-month discounts for lines that didn’t already have it earlier this year. When the device is fully paid off, will the line revert back to a $25 month-to-month discount since it had been enrolled previously?

If you purchase a new phone on the DPP agreement, the Month2Month discount will be removed and the DPP discount added. After the DPP agreement is completed, you will have to manually call customer service at 1-800-922-0204 from a landline or *611 from your phone and request they add the Month2Month discount to the out of the contract line.

I have also heard back from Verizon and they've also given me the same information. The DPP will be $40 with a $25 credit coming to a cost of $15 for the line. Along with the caveat that the Month2Month $25 discount was a promotion and may not be able to be added back. Although, she had seen it done on various lines if the Month2Month promotion had been applied to the line before.

She also said, realistically, that by 2-years time when the DPP is done, I would probably revisit newer plans and promotions.

Only 1 line is potentially going to be on DPP.

I have included a 15% discount.

This doesn't include any taxes.

The assumption is I will be staying on Verizon for at least 2 years anyway.
