How can I restore contacts that were accidentally deleted?

I accidentally deleted a number of important contacts. I use Backup Assistant but have not activated it since I know that if I sync with it now the contacts I deleted will be lost. How can I download the last list I updated to Backup Assistant that still has the deleted contacts included?

We don't want you to lose any valuable information, JHUB15. Do you have an old Verizon phone that you could use to pull the information from? When you go to use the backup, does it ask you to choose a date to backup from?
