Cannot make or receive calls on Samsung J3 connected to network extender

I just purchased a Samsung J3 prepaid phone which is connected to a 4G Network Extender. I can send and receive texts but cannot make or receive calls. I also can connect to WiFi but cannot make calls like I could with my previous provider. Is there a fix for either of these issues?

I'm not sure prepaid phones and the network extenders work well together.

It's very important that your new device has working service. Let's get your calls and data working. Where did you purchase the Network Extender? What specifically happens when you attempt to make a call?
