I had to travel out of town today. There was no wifi I could use. Tried to get on internet but kept getting message saying off line. Turned off wifi and ensured airplane mode was off. Any suggestions for future reference? Lg V20
Yes, after talking to customer rep. Dont know why but there are 2 other areas to it on also. Makes no sense to Me unless its a " safety measure" for accidentally turning it on. Thank You for Your help.
Try turning the phone off briefly. If that doesn't help, turn off the phone and remove the SIM card briefly. If you continue having issues, you may need a new SIM card (they're free at your local Corporate VzW store or by contacting Customer Service).
Tried your suggestions except replacing sim card. Before i go to store, I went to advanced settings on wifi. Area that allows data to be used when no wifi will not let me turn on
Since you never mentioned it, did you actually turn on the cellular data connection for the device?
