Why is the voicemail system changing? What features are changing?
Lindydog, I can certainly understand your concern with the voicemail changes that have occurred. I know I loved my Visual Voicemail feature. It was so quick for me to read my messages. The only change that has occurred is the retirement of the Visual Voicemail feature. You will still retain the Basic Voicemail feature. You will just have to dial in instead of being able to read the voicemail directly from the phone.

What are you referring to?
I received two emails saying my Verizon Voicemail is changing. The latest one is asking me to change my pin. Is this a phishing scam?
To continue receiving new voice mail messages, you will need to set up a new Voice Mailbox on or after your migration date (reflected in the text notification). You will be notified of their migration date in the email and text message they receive approximately 30 days prior to their migration. See below for instruction on how you can:
Note: All stored voice messages that are not saved will be permanently deleted 30 days after the voice mail update
Voice mail updates will be performed between 11:30 PM and midnight on the Migration Date listed in the schedule above. The following set up should be done beginning the day after the update has completed.
To access your saved voice messages, refer to the number provided, or contact VZW to retrieve that number.
Note:
It may be phishing. I would not follow any links from an email. If you need to change anything, you can do it your My Verizon account. If you need to update anything, you will get notification in My Verizon.

Just seeking a little further clarification. After setting up the new voicemail due to the upgrade, if I'm reading properly, I will still be able to listen to, but not forward or reply to, current saved voicemails for 30 days, and that's how long I have to get CBW to record them for me? Everything else seems self explanatory, as long as I follow instructions. Thanks.
You are correct Commando.
This is not correct. I have not been able to hear my saved voicemails since the update, yet after NUMEROUS calls, emails, and feeling like I am just shy of being a stalker to both CBW and Verizon re. this issue, I have no idea where the voice mail really are at this point. I call the "tree" number and only hear my new voicemail messages. I call all the other access numbers listed, and they say the # does not exist. CBW says they have an additional 30 days, on top of the original 30 days to copy and send them out to those who ordered them. It is now going on 40 days since my order (Oct 21st), so I am beside myself needing to know that my messages are still somewhere.....yet here I sit....in the dark...waiting. CBW says verizon has the messages on their server, ....Verizon says they have not control over them once the migration took place. Where does the buck stop?
My migration date was November 18, 2016. I followed the link VW provided and selected to have my voicemails saved and sent to me on a memory stick. It is now May 1, 2017 and I have not received anything. I called CBW and they cannot find me in their system. VW customer service says they cannot do anything because the order was with a third party service. I am very upset because I had several voicemails from my Dad and he is now very ill and has had dementia for a few years and I will never hear him leave me say those things again.
If I hired a company to take care of my customers account and they lost information I would be taking the lead in finding out what happened. Not just saying to contact the company that lost the information.
Has anyone received their voicemail messages from CBW?

Permanent copies of your voicemail messages can be made through CBW Productions, Inc. for a minimal fee. This isn't a Verizon Wireless service. However, we can point you in the right direction for assistance. Click Welcome Verizon Wireless Customers: CBW Productions to contact them directly and check the status of your saved messages. For your convenience, you may also contact them directly by phone at 800-770-8046.
