Sync of Google Contacts

Can I "force" a sync of all my Google Contacts to my Samsung G7? Something (young son?) deleted most of my contacts; I can sync with Verizon cloud, but not with Google, which has entries not duplicated on Verizon. Just cannot figure out how to force my contacts in Google yo be loaded on my phone...

You should be able to log into your Google account from a computer and do it like that. I wouldn't do it from the phone because that may sync it with Google's servers and remove the contacts that you are trying to sync.

There should be a way to restore the contacts in Google if they happened to be deleted there too.
