Data addition on a $30 basic call/text prepaid plan

Hi,

I have a $30 basic prepaid plan and today I have bought a $20 value card to add 3 GB valid for 90 days, can I add data to my basic plan i.e. 3 GB valid for 90 days.

I would only add it after you have used your current allotment to avoid the cycle ending and forfeiting the remaining amount. I also don't have to much knowledge on Pre-Paid so I cant be sure.
