wifi calling stopped working with new update 27C.

I had been forcing my phone to use wifi calling by putting it in airplane mode. This does not work anymore with new 27 C update. Now the phone uses the towers even if they are poor -

1 bar. Dropped calls a lot. Wifi calling worked great before the update. Now I am back to poor phone service at my house. Any ideas?

Software updates should make your phone run better not worse, BREDUC35. I am sorry for the experience and I am happy to help find a solution. What are the steps you are taking to activate WiFi Calling? What exactly is happening if you attempt to activate WiFi calling with in the phone settings? For example, are you receiving any error messages? Does the issue duplicate on multiple WiFi networks or just one specific network?
