Does the S5 have a Car Mode? My older Samsung phone Had a Car Mode and when activated, it used Speech to inform me that new Calls and Messages had come in! Is this feature available with the S5?
My Father uses this on this Moto Turbo and loves it. Here are my suggestions:
If you use Verizon Messages+ for texts you can turn on driving mode within that app.--> http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-161772/
Also, within Settings > Language and input > Google text to speech.
I'm not sure of any other options on the Galaxy S5. Others may chime in.
