How long do we have to do the exchange for note 7

I waited for the note 7 because it met all of my needs. I do t want to be forced to downgrade to a phone that doesn't meet my needs can i wait until the Samsung s8 plus comes out in March or can i activate my old phone and just return this I feel like I'm being forced to buy something I don't want for a lot of money

Samsung says you can get your money back.

Verizon is being difficult.  But yes, you are allowed a refund.
