why do my text messages create an email

Where is the solution to the question. I started experiencing this the other day after the software update. When I receive a text message, I get an email with the same message. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7
There is a setting within the email application of the Samsung phones allowing the text message to be delivered to the email application too. You have to turn it off.
