Yesterday my G3 pushed an update. Afterwards, many apps would crash when trying to run (Google app, games), or when performing certain basic actions (opening a link in Facebook, opening an email in Inbox). I figured it would iron itself out or, at worst, I'd have to reset to factory settings. This morning when using Chrome the screen went blue for a few seconds then off. Now it won't go beyond the red Verizon loading screen. The most I can do is get it to load into Download Mode (plug it into computer while holding Volume Up), but that only lasts a minute or two at most (sometimes only seconds) before I get the blue screen. While it could be an unfortunate coincidence that all of this started after the update, I can't help but feel as if Verizon is complicit in destroying what was, 32 hours ago, a functional device. Also, because I'm not eligible for an upgrade until December (only 4 months away!), it's going to cost me a bundle one way or another. Never getting an LG again.
This may be related to the problem KRILAR53 is having (thread HERE) with his/her G4, but that thread lacks enough detail for me to be sure.
