How can I manually sync emails?

Hi - I have a Samsung galaxy 3jv and figured out how to set my email to manual sync, but I can't figure out how to tell the phone to do a manual sync. Anyone have any ideas?

Josfas80 I also have to check my email so I understand needing a manual sync. All you have to do i select the email account and hit refresh (top right).
