How do I shut off one talk
Brian, thank you for reaching out to us, we want to make sure your phone is functioning at full capacity. Not to worry we will help get your phone back up and running. Software updates can sometimes have trouble fully downloading. In some cases we would have you do a full factory data reset on your phone. Before we go there, I recommend a simple “Wipe Cache Partition” .
How to clear the cache on the Galaxy S6
1. Turn off your Galaxy S6 2. Press and hold the Power, Volume Up and Home buttons simultaneously.
3. You can release them when you see the Samsung logo with Recovery booting written in blue at the very top of the screen.
4. You will be brought to the Android System Recovery screen (or a custom recovery if you have one installed – if so, your steps will be slightly different, but basically the same as described here).
5. Use the volume buttons to scroll down the list to highlight Wipe Cache Partition and use the Power button to confirm your selection.
You'll see that the cache clear has worked at the bottom of the screen.
7. You'll see a notification at the bottom of the screen in yellow to show that the system cache has been wiped.
8. If Reboot System Now is not already highlighted, use the volume keys to highlight Reboot
System Now and press the Power button to confirm.Once you've cleared the cache partition you can simply Reboot System Now.
9. Your Galaxy S6 will reboot with a fresh system cache.

Worse bloatware on my phone. Don't want, don't use, app auto starts and crashes multiple times a day. I can't uninstall and can't disable? Why?
It is crashing several times a day. Get rid of this thing!

I have a Samsung S6 and after the latest update to this junk software it crashed my phone over and over every minute until I was able to unistall the update. If you want to see what your customers think of this then check the reviews of it on the App Store. It's rated 1.1 with over 2600 1 Star ratings. Just remove this bloatware from the phone because it's obvious it isn't being fixed. I have to manually go in and make sure to turn off the update for this one app every time I try to update my apps.
Go to Applications, then Application Manager. Tap More in the upper right-hand corner and then tap Show System Apps. Scroll down to One Talk, tap it, then tap Force Stop and Disable.
Not sure what Verizon did to this app but my phone has been overheating and crashing, sometimes multiple times a day, ever since they pushed it out on 10Sep16. Glad they employ an awesome quality control/assurance team to ensure these types of issues don't exist BEFORE pushing out to customer phones. It's been a month since they pushed it. Why hasn't Verizon fixed the issue, yet? Why haven't they acknowledged the issue? All of this is pushing me more and more to buying my next phone directly from Google (the new Pixel) and using whatever service they offer.
MrDelaware, we want your device working in pristine condition. Overheating and crashing is always a main point of concern, thanks for letting us know. What is the specific make/model of device that you happen to use? Have you noticed any other issues with the device since the latest update? We don’t want you leaving Verizon Wireless and are committed to finding a resolution for the current issues at hand.

Hi Chris,
I have the Samsung S6 (non-edge or plus). The primary issues after the last update were the overheating and crashing several times a day. The phone's performance would slow dramatically and quickly overheat before crashing completely. It would take 10 to 15 minutes before I'd be able to reboot the phone as the buttons became useless (having a removable battery would've made things easier... oh well).
My phone isn't crashing anymore since I disabled the One Talk app. But, I've noticed a hit in performance overall where games and other apps are much slower now than they were prior to the update. It's very annoying to say the least. I know my phone is capable of handling whatever I want to do with it but the latest update completely hosed my phone. Not happy at all. :smileysad:
Thanks,
Brian
