How do I put speed dial individuals on the home screen

• Long-press an empty space on the home screen
• Tap Widgets
• Tap Contacts (depending on the phone you have)
• Tap Contact if you want to be able to choose which number to use or if you want the option to e-mail as well as phone; otherwise tap Direct Dial to directly dial the number like a speed dial
• Drag the icon to where you want it on the home screen and let go, you'll be taken to your Contacts list so you can tap the contact to be associated with the widget
