While traveling I ran out of GB. I have 2 GB Plan. Talked to Verizon & was told I could go to 4 GB until end of billing period for $10.00. Then back to my 2 GB plan again. In reviewing my next bill Verizon is estimating a bill of $143. Instead of my regular $113. What's going on?

You might have been billed the per GB overage price which I think is $15 per GB.

We know how important it is to make sure that your account charges are correct. Getting a larger than anticipated bill would concern me too. What dates were you traveling? Keep in mind that while making changes to your account during the billing cycle, any price differences are added to your next bill.

Very poor answer. My bill is estimated to go up $30.00 not $15.00. Please do your home work before an answer like this is sent.

2GB plan is $35, 4GB plan is $50. That is $15.

A gig of overage is $15, same for a data boost.

The difference between the 2GB plan and 4GB plan is $15. It sounds like the plan change may have been backdated to help cover you for the entire billing period and avoid proration.

Our billing is a month in advance, so when changing plans you are refunded for the month in advance of the old plan and charged for the month in advance of the new plan. This is simply an exchange between the old and new plan's month in advance cost.

So the plan difference of $15 would actually be $30 on the next bill, due to the exchange. If your plan change back to the 2GB plan is made on the first day of your next billing period, then the next bill would be $15 less than normal, due to the same month in advance exchange.
