Will a Gizmo Watch 3 get improved voice service from a 4G LTE Network Extender?

Trying to improve the performance of my son's new Gizmo as cell service at our house is weak - my wife and I use wi-fi calling but that's not an option with the Gizmo. Will VZW's LTE Network Extender improve the service received by the watch if we install one? Some troubleshooting articles indicate a device needs to have "advanced calling" or "HD audio" or something similar to get improved call performance from a Network Extender - just trying to determine if the Extender is actually capable of helping the Gizmo get better service.

Hello, amancuso588, thanks for reaching out in regard to your son's Gizmo Watch. The Network Extender will not help improve coverage for this particular device as it only support mobile handsets at this time.

Following up on this for those who may have the same issue - the above is not accurate. VZW customer service sent me an LTE Network Extender and it's improved both the voice and text performance of my son's watch significantly.

amancuso588, it's great to hear that the voice and text features has improved, but the Network Extender is not compatible to boost service for the Gizmo Watch.

If he dials #48 on his watch, does it say 'You are under network extender coverage...'?

Can't test it from the watch, because you have to create contacts on the watch (it can only dial the contacts stored on the watch) and when I go to create a contact on the watch from the administrator app on my device, I'm limited to storing numbers that have digits only (I can't put a # in a contact number.)

That said - and while I can totally appreciate what VZW is saying in this thread - I can only say what I'm experiencing in the field here. Prior to installing the extender, his watch would show 0/4 bars of service at our house and could only sporadically, if ever, successfully make calls from here. When I'm on the other side of the house from the extender it shows 2/4 now, and when I'm next to the extender it shows 4/4. (The extender only has a 50' max range from what I understand.) Calls sent and received from the watch now go through perfectly.

The extender is definitely working on my S23+ - I've now got service when I drop from my wi-fi and get the "you're on network extender coverage" when I call #48.
