I can't seemI can't seem to figure out the main important steps in order to be able to try out the Free 30 Day free eSim trial?
Hi, in order to do the free trial, your phone must be unlocked and able to support dual SIM/eSIM (either one SIM card plus an eSIM, or 2 eSIMs simultaneously). You also cannot be an existing Verizon customer in any way, nor a customer of any company which is completely owned by Verizon. Subsidiary companies owned by Verizon include Frontier, Visible, Total Wireless, Tracfone, Family Mobile. That's not an all-inclusive list, so if you're unsure whether your current carrier is owned by Verizon, I'd Google it.
Detailed instructions for how to set up the free trial are in the link below.
Thanks for the detailed breakdown, SynthpopAddict! This really clears up the requirements for the Verizon trial, especially the part about the phone needing to be unlocked and the subsidiary restrictions.
For anyone who might not qualify for the Verizon trial (or if you're traveling internationally and need a quick setup without the carrier hoops), I’ve found that using a dedicated eSIM directory is a lifesaver. I personally use esimfree.org to compare and find free or budget-friendly eSIM trials globally. It's a great backup if you just need data instantly without switching your main line.
Thanks again for the help!
