My LG G3 Wi-Fi automatically turns off randomly. I find this irritating, because if I'm not paying attention I use precious data on my limited plan. Has anyone else noticed this issue?
I can absolutely understand how precious your data allowance can become, notworking4me. There is a setting that will allow your phone to automatically switch from a weaker or unstable WiFi to the cellular network. To turn this off and ensure your phone remains on WiFi until truly out of range, follow the steps below: From a home screen, tap Apps (located in the lower right). From the Apps tab, tap Settings. Tap Wi-Fi. If presented with Wi-Fi tutorial screen, tap Close tutorial. Tap Menu (located in the upper right). Tap Advanced Wi-Fi. Tap Avoid unstable connections & remove the check mark to disable. (Enabled when a check mark is present) JenniferH_VZW Follow us on Twitter www.twitter.com/vzwsupport
Hello, I checked that setting. It's already disabled. What's next?

notworking4me,Sorry the solution was not so simple! Let's get that working. In that same Advanced Wi-Fi menu, scroll down to Wi-Fi signal weak and remove the checkmark if present. Press the back button and touch your network on the list. Select Forget and then turn Wi-Fi off. Turn WiFi back on and touch search at the bottom. Reconnect to your network and retest. Let us know how that's working.BrianP_VZWFollow Us on Twitter @VZWSupport
I didn't have to do all of that. For some reason toggling the settings fixed the problem. I can't explain it. Sometimes bugs exist and a simple reset eliminates them.
