***Announcement: Welcome to the new Verizon Community! We have merged our Wireless and Fios Communities to bring you the best place to discuss any Verizon product or service, along with all things tech! We have many new features to discuss with you in the coming weeks, but first we want to make sure that all of you who have been active on either of our communities before are able to log in! For many of you, we have been able to merge your Wireless and Fios community accounts so all of your Community contributions are all in one place. If you were active in both communities and you previously used the same My Verizon account to log into both, you’re all set! You will be able to use those same credentials to access the new Community. If one of those accounts was with My Verizon and the other was a Community Member Only account, please use your My Verizon account to log in. Please note that we were only able to merge those accounts that were attributed to the same email address. If you only had one account on either Community, you can log into that account exactly as you have before. For some of our Fios Community members, you may have an issue logging in. If you had an account on the Fios Community and you’re having login issues, please use the Community Member Only login page and use the “Forgot my info” link to reset your password. Once you complete this, you should be able to log in normally. If you continue to have any further issues logging in, please email us at verizon.community.team@verizon.com and we’ll assist you to get you back in the Community! Hi, I'm not sure who to ask so I wanted to post this online; perhaps somebody knows the answer?  I work pt for Kohl's and learned after doing some online research that as an employee I qualified for a percentage discount on my Verizon bill. Is this true? And  if so, who can I contact to get this adjusted? There's a Verizon store not far from my work; perhaps I should go there? I don't know much here so I'm grasping at straws--yet I've learned the dumbest question is the one that goes un-asked so thanks for humoring me and have a good day :smileyhappy:

Doodlesaur, I am happy you have learned of the possibility of receiving an employee discount. I have listed some information to apply for your employee discount. Once your discount is reviewed, evaluated and approved it will be added to your next billing statement. The discount can not be backdated to previous statements but can be added to your current bill once approved and going forward as long as your employee has an agreement with us.

 

As stated above, in order to determine your eligibility, it will be necessary to register your account with supporting information.

 

The eligible employee must be the account holder and must have a calling plan $34.99 or higher in order to receive this discount. Additionally, promotional plans, including service activated on a month-to-month basis, do not qualify for this discount.

 

To submit a request for a company discount, the following three options are available to you.

 

1. You may visit the following website and enter your work/government e-mail address:

 

www.verizonwireless.com/discount 

 

If the work e-mail address is listed in our system, we will send you an email with instructions on how you can begin to take advantage of your employer's discount. If you do not have a work e-mail address, or if our system does not recognize your e-mail address, please click on the applicable link located in the “Don’t Have a Work E-Mail Address?” section on the right side of the page to apply for your discount. Once your information has been received and your eligibility has been verified, please allow one to two bill cycles for your discount to be applied to your account.

 

 

2. You may visit your company's extranet website and click "Register Your Line." Once this has been done, your account will be reviewed for eligibility and your discount will be applied to your account. For further questions concerning your company discount and extranet site, please contact your Human Resources Department.

 

3. You may call our automated employee discount line at 866-456-7892, and select option 1 to request eligibility forms to be faxed to your fax number. Please be sure to listen to the prompts to receive the proper instructions on how to obtain your employee discount. Please complete the employment verification paperwork in its entirety and fax the information back to 800-711-7788.
