I have 5G home internet service with the ASK-NCQ1338FA device. Every time I try to check for a firmware update (under Device Settings/Firmware/Check for new version) I get the error message, "Check for new software failed. There was a problem while checking for new software. Try again?"
I tried power cycling and a factory reset. Same result. Any idea how to get this to work?
I ask because I currently have software version 222656, but I notice here (https://www.verizon.com/support/verizon-internet-gateway-ask-ncq1338-update/) that an update should be available.
