Verizon Range extender with 5G home internet gateway

I was sent a range extender to help with dropped calls when at home in my office. I typically only have 1 or 2 bars of signal strength. While trying to get the range extender to work I was told that it does not work with the Verizon 5G home internet gateway. Is this correct?

Hello, Ninjanut, that is true. The Network Extender does not extend the range of the 5G Internet Gateway. Are you running into an issue with your 5G Home service?

Yes, my 5G gateway looses connection with the internet from all my devices except for my laptop! It is very frustrating to have to flag emails and respond from my laptop instead of being able to address the issue from my device. I also typically only get one or two bars on my signal strength and never get the 5G UWB signal that I get when away from home.
