$200 Amazon Gift Card Promotion

Installed the 5G Home Plus Internet with the Amazon Echo or $200 Amazon Gift Card but have not received an email to register for the card.  Calling customer service was no help told me I wouldn't get registration email until 45 days after installation.   Is this correct?  The verbiage below does not indicate that & I do not want to miss the registration window.  Verizon is not off to a good start with customer service as I see issue after issue with this.  

Below is from Verizon website 

Amazon.com Gift Card: Must activate or install eligible Verizon Home Internet service & register for the card w/in 60 days of activation or installation. Card emailed within 24-48 hours of registration. Other card terms and conditions apply. Restrictions apply, see amazon.com/gc-legal. Offer ends 1.17.24. Verizon reserves the right to charge back the value of the promotional Amazon.com Gift Card if eligible service is canceled w/in 180 days.

Having questions about claiming, redeeming or checking the status of your Amazon Gift Card from the 5G Home Plus Promo offer? Here are some notes, or steps to take that can help:

  1. The redemption process begins upon the activation of your qualifying 5G Home Plus Plan.
    - Once activation is confirmed, qualified Home Plus customers will have a notification tile within your My Verizon Online / My Verizon app after logging into their account.

  2. Upon redemption, Your eligible Gift Card will be delivered electronically within 24-48 hours.
    - You can check your redemption status at https://www.yourdigitalrebatecenter.com/#!/check-my-status

  3. Qualifying customer may also want to check their spam folder for the below Subject and Sender:
    - Email Subject: Your Gift Card has Arrived
    - Email Sender: YourWirelessRebate@YourWirelessRebateCenter.com

  4. If you still have questions about your gift card redemption, status and eligibility, please send @vzw_customer_support a message and a service representative can assist you.

We are aware of the issue with the Amazon gift card offer and we do have a fix that will go into place on 12/13. At that time, you will receive additional information to redeem your offer.

Thanks, I'm having the same issue. Nowhere to claim the $200 Amazon gift card. I hope it gets fixed on 12/13.

It’s 12/31 and I am unable to get my Amazon $200 gift card. Very frustrating website. It’s difficult to understand how a communication company can’t set up a web page that it’s customers can communicate on.

Reporting back, After Private chatted with the support, and waited two weeks told by support. I got my amazon gift card email, and I was able to redeem it without issues.

I've been told 3 of 4 different stories. B.Sing me it's always a week or 2 wait for a "reply from the experts" we have 60 days to register for the card.. I want the email to register that's all I want. I've been transfered and started over 4 times each time I talk to someone. I don't want to have to switch companies again but Im starting to feel like they advertise for something we never get... Said it would be fixed 12/12 on the phone I waited 11 days the 12th came and nothing now it's another 2 weeks to get a reply email to see if my account qualifies? Please help

I have been having the same issue. I switched over to Verizon 5g and activated my device 12/1/23 and have no tap to redeem my $200 Amazon gift card. I received the email congradulating me on switching and telling me I qualify for the promotion. but no link or icon to redeem. I have called multiple times and have the issue expedited and offered a call back and nothing. This is very frustrating. I'm told after 60 I will be able to claim. But the email says I have to register within 60 days of activation. I feel like I am going to be  gypped.

5Boymom, I'm really sorry to hear that you've been unable to redeem your Amazon gift card. We definitely want to make sure that you're able to take advantage of the deals you qualify for. Please tell us, when you sign in to your My Verizon account, are you using the mobile app or the desktop site? Do you experience the missing tile both through the app and the site? To clarify, have we also checked Spam folder for the e-mail?

Yes my 5g device was mailed to me. I'm not sure what a promotion esc is but I was told there is a file of all my calls and that it would be expedited and I should hear from them on Monday..this it the second time they have told me this and then nobody calls me.

Nobody called me yesterday as promised. My case was escalated and I was told someone was going to call me on Monday 1/22/24. I still have no solution to when or how to receive and redeem my gift card that I am supposed to get for switching to 5g Internet.
