$200 Amazon Gift Card

Signed up for Verzion home internet and my plan qualified for the $200 Amazon gift card.  48 hours after my service had been activated I  still has not received one communication from Verzion about how to activate my promotion.

I called the customer service number and after a lengthy call was assured I the promotion would appear under my account on the my Verizon app and I could activate it by there with 2 business days. They rep also told me they would call me back on that day to ensure this had happed. Neither happed. No phone call. Still no communication from Verzion about the promotion.

I called customer service for a second time. This time rep gave me INCORRECT information that contradicted what is states on the Verzion website and what the first rep told me. They stated i would not receive the gift until 60 days. This is not true. After 60 the office is VOID!!!!  I told her this, and checked with another team again. They said they emailed me, still no email came. She has told me that I would receive communication within 2 business days, and escalated the issue. Two business days later still communication from  Verzion, and no way to activate my promotion.

At this point if I don’t receive anything from Verzion within one more week I will cancel my service and  go back to my old provider. I will not deal with dishonesty like this.

Hi, Shell26, I'm so sorry to hear trying to get your Amazon card has been such a bad experience, we never want this for anyone. You are correct that it is up to 60 days to redeem the card. Our site has expereince a tiny hiccup with getting the tile updates and will resume as normal on the 13th. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Its now Dec 13 and NOTHING has appeared on the myVerzion app to redeem this promotion!!!!!

I have been waiting since November for my $200 Amazon gift card after switching to Verizon 5G internet and wifi.  Followed the instructions in order to redeem my gift card. spoke to 2 online agents and that led me to a live CSR and he said would be within a week (first week of December)This is unacceptable

Pablo24, thank you for sharing that additional information. Below are the steps to complete the redemption process after clicking on the tile. Can you let us know if all of the below steps were completed? If not, can you attempt the below steps and let us know if it is successful for you?

 

1 Sign in to My Verizon (online or app).
2 Navigate to the My Verizon account page.
3 Click on $200 Amazon.com Gift Card redemption tile under Make the Most of Your Plans.


4 Do the following under the $200 Amazon.com Gift Card redemption tile:


Review and accept the Terms & Conditions by checking the box.
Click Select.
Result: The customer is directed to the Blackhawk website to redeem the offer.



Follow instructions to complete the order.


Note: Customers must verify email address.

The tile is no longer there. I believe I did all these steps but I have no way of checking or tracking the status. If I had followed all these steps where would I go to find the gift card?

Thank you for trying those steps Pablo24. If you completed all of those steps, you should receive an email within 3 days with your gift card. If more than 3 days have passed and you are not seeing an email, we would recommend checking your junk/spam folder for an email that would show the following: 

Email Subject: Your Gift Card has Arrived
Email Sender: YourWirelessRebate@YourWirelessRebateCenter.com

This is crazy how many people are posting issues with redeeming Verizon promotional offers.

I recently moved, and needed to switch my service provider.

Has anyone had success actually receiving the promotional offers advertised?

If so, can you post the number or email address you were able to contact to resolve the issue?
