Going to tell a story here…a team of Verizon sales people come knocking at my front door. They are trying to get me to sign up for Verizon 5G plus home plan. They tell me if I sign up I get a $200 gift card from Amazon. I should get an email once internet is activated and have the gift card within 24-48 hours. On 11/25 we plug in the wi-if. It works. We call Verizon the same night regarding how to go about getting the gift card. We are told to wait for an email. Only email we receive has links that do not do anything at all. The hyperlink just took us straight to Amazon. No redemption no nothing. Just the regular Amazon website. We call Verizon. We are told we have to wait 65 days before receiving gift card. Not in one place/post/website/email/text/etc… was this information available to the customer. False Advertising!!! I call back. I’m told I am eligible for the $200 gift card and do not have to wait the 65 days. Customer support sent out a “escalation form” and we should receive info on how to redeem gift card in 7-10 days. Oh, and at some point I was transferred to Fios which does not even service the state I live in. They could do nothing for me. Customer support kept talking about compensation once I mentioned we were cancelling the home internet after the deception of Verizon. It has been over 10 days and no email. I call back today. CS says the escalation form review indicates we must wait the 65 days. This is lies. None of the fine print talks about this. The fine print I read even said if you cancel the internet after getting the gift card you have to pay it back. None of the info customer support is telling me is available to the customer. So…back on track to my story. I had been on the phone for almost 2 hours today. Transferred 3 times and no resolution. Compensation keeps being brought up. Verizon is pretty stupid if they want to keep compensating me to keep me as a customer when all they have to do is send me a $200 Amazon gift card. At this point it is not even about the gift card. It is that Verizon has lied to us about the deal beginning with the sales team they have walking door to door lying about promotions just to get people to sign up for deals. If I would have known I would have had to deal with all of this I would never have signed up for the services. #verizonmakeitright #falseadvertisement #5ghome

Same here. Activated 5g home last Saturday. No x box, no gift cards, no emails. 4 chat sessions and 2 calls. Verizon support is non existent. This is standard bait tactics. They will try to keep you the service for 60 days, and after you will not be eligible for anything. Agents only interest is to make a sale, not to honor anything. If you didn’t receive the promotional on the same day, after activation, it means you will not receive it at all. So just keep the service if you like, but you will waste hours for nothing, trying to get the promotional value

There was a known issue with the tile appearing for customers on My Verizon App/My Verizon Online. Please let us know if the below steps don't resolve your issues or the tile doesn't appear.
1 Sign in to My Verizon (online or app).
2 Navigate to the My Verizon account page.
3 Click on Get your choice on us: Amazon Echo Show 10 (3rd Generation) or $200 Amazon.com Gift Card redemption tile under Make the Most of Your Plans.
Result: The customer is taken to the page to choose either the Amazon Echo Show 10 (3rd Generation) or $200 Amazon.com Gift Card.
4 Do the following under the $200 Amazon.com Gift Card redemption tile:
Review and accept the Terms & Conditions by checking the box.
Click Select.
Result: The customer is directed to the Blackhawk website to redeem the offer.
5 Follow instructions to complete the order.
Note: Customers must verify email address
1 Sign in to My Verizon.
2 Navigate to the My Verizon account page.
3 Click on Get your choice on us: Xbox Series S redemption tile under "Make the Most of Your Plans".
Result: The customer is taken to the page to redeem the Xbox Series S.
4 Do the following under the Xbox Series S console redemption tile:
Review and accept the Terms & Conditions by checking the box.
Click Select.
Result: The customer is taken to the Cart with the Xbox Series S console with the promotion applied and the price of the Xbox Series S console is shown.
5 Select Shipping information.
6 Submit order.

Got the link from Verizon redemption center four days ago and followed instructions. After second attempt it was redeemed straight to my Amazon account. I was able to immediately use it for purchases. Yes, it is real. Praying this helps.

No solution from Verizon. Our solution…we just cancelled the Verizon 5G plus home plan. This was a promotion they never should have ran if they can not honor the customer.

Yes, thank you. Got the link from the Verizon redemption center. Followed the directions and it was immediately posted in my Amazon account. Thank you. Now, looking for the $100 dollar Verizon Gift Card that is also shown with the $200 dollar Amazon Gift Card promo.

I have been dealing with this so-called promotion that I was duped into believing about signing up for Verizon home internet and once I activated it I would receive a $200.00 Amazon Gift Card WITHIN 48-HOURS for IMMEDIATE USE!!
That was on DECEMBER 3rd!!!! Then after dealing with major lack of knowledge and two hours minimum each time I have contacted your company, on live chat, I was told the problem would be fixed by December 13th. Well that day has come and gone and big surprise…. STILL NOT FIXED!!
I have WASTED so much of my time on this that it is now the principal!!!!! I once worked for the State’s Consumer Protection Division , many years ago, and I do happen to KNOW that this is EXTREMELY UNETHICAL!!
Maybe the only way this will get fixed is if someone were to contact the proper people, or even the news channels, then just MAYBE they would finally have Verizon’s attention!!!!!

Ordered 5G Home Plus on November 30th, online and activated on December 4th with no email communications or app tiles mentioning the $200 Amazon gift card or the $100 Verizon gift card. I like the internet service, but seeing how almost nobody can get their promotional offers all I'm focusing on is disconnecting the service in the first 30 days if Verizon can't deliver on their promotions.
