Is Xbox series X promotion a dishonest scheme?

It’s been 3 weeks since I activated my account and I’ve also chat with support on it. No email and no ability to claim the reward. I know there is a 60 day limit to claim the reward so if Verizon drag this out long enough can they renege on the offer?

I feel like if they are not able to fulfill the reward they should not be marketing it. The moderator modified my post due to the definition of a dishonest scheme which is funny as I felt like I was schemed against dishonestly and now they are censoring my post.

I am on the phone with someone right now - for the 2nd time. I feel like it’s a scheme too. No gift card, no Xbox. I’ve been a loyal customer since 2006 smh. Feels so wrong.

No, customer support stated they escalated to the promo/marketing team that will help resolved but so far I have not seen any follow up. Help is appreciated.

Thank you for the information, Seraphim13. The escalation form is definitely the right step as this is what will allow our promotions team to qualify you for the offer. You won't have to worry about not redeeming the offer on time, since the escalation form is considered the redemption. There is a turnaround time of up to 6 weeks for the delivery of the Xbox Series X once the escalation form is submitted. When was the escalation form submitted for your account? ~Izzy

That was more than a week ago.  I’ve not seen any update that the Xbox is being delivered or even processed. The whole promotion experience is really not ideal. So I’m supposed to wait another 5 weeks without update?

Can I get a confirmation email at least that it is being worked on or some reference number?
