I'm starting to believe that Verizon is swindling its customers. I'm almost positive that they're making all these fantastic promotions to draw in customers and then making the promotions impossible to redeem. Only the most determined customers will keep trying to get the free products when they purposefully make it impossible.
I recently opened a new line of service and qualified to get the free Apple TV. When the tile showed up, I followed the link but wasn't even getting a discount. They wanted me to pay full price. I spent hours chatting with several customer service reps who claimed to have fixed the issue. Except I still have no free Apple TV. The tile still shows up for me, but it only offers me an Apple TV at full price.
Now I've decided to try Verizon 5g Home internet. I'm supposed to get a free Xbox Series S and an Amazon Gift Card. Guess what? The tiles rarely appear, but when they do, I get an error message: "Try again later." Except the tiles aren't there later.
Verizon has made it difficult to speak with anyone on the phone. The chat reps are incompetent; they act confused when I mention these promotions and claim to have never heard of them.
Am I ever going to get these promotions? Has anyone received these promotions? Or is it all a giant con?

Hello, klizbet, I'm sorry to hear you ran into issues when trying to redeem your rewards. We are aware of these issue and have implemented a fix as of yesterday, 12/13. Since then, you should be able to redeem your offers using the tile in My Verizon or the My Verizon app. Can you please try to redeem your offers using the tile once again? If you are still running into trouble, please let us know and we will be happy to help.

- I was promised a $50 dollar gift card offer and have read of numerous complaints from Verizon customers who can't claim the offers due to various errors that Verizon builds into the app to prevent customers from getting them. No matter how many times I click to claim my offer in my app and after that it brings me to a disclaimer screen to accept the terms of the offer. After accepting the terms it brings me right back to the screen to claim the offer again and loops over and over with no confirmation that the offer was claimed. So it's still not working.

Iโm having the same problem Iโm supposed to get a 65inch Omni 4k tv and all I get is the run around and never get a resolution 7 times Iโve tried to contact Verizon and nothing gets done

Yeah I was told that I could redeem offer August 10 so the 10 came no email of course new excuse was support team had to fix in their system the fact that nobody checked the promotion when I purchased phone another three days to fix now itโs been three days so Iโm curious what the exusse Will be today if they donโt fix this today and walk me through the ordering of tv Iโm going to better business Bureau

I am having the same issue Lauren. My order was placed on 11/21. Iโve received the email. Nothing has ever appeared and by the time I receive someone in the live chat, Iโve fallen asleep waiting!

My tiles have been in the app as a reminder. Now that I am eligible to redeem them they are gone. I tired chat and the person just said they couldnโt help and closed the chat on me. This is ridiculous

You shared that the tiles are not showing in the app. Are they showing if you log in on the website? Did you receive any redemption emails for the offers? If so, do those allow you to move forward with the redemption process?

I am in the exact same situation. I was promised a 65inch TV when I switched over to Verizon but they have made it impossible for me to redeem.
Multiple reps giving me multiple promises and different excuses to why I have not received the promo that I am eligible for and at this point I feel like they are lying.
I agree with you that this feels like a giant CON.

Hello, I have experienced the exact same issue as you described above, except my offer was for a free Nintendo Switch and $200 Target gift card. I've already spoken with half a dozen agents both on chat and phone, and finally filed a complaint with the BBB. I received a call from the "Executive Office" advising they will work with me about my complaint, and that was 3 days ago. Still waiting to hear. I was told that I have to redeem the promo code for the Switch on the website - NOT the app, and the latest issue is that when you log in to the Verizon website, it directs you to the Verizon app to approve an access request, then the website cycles and posts a message that my account is locked. I am unable to even log in to the website. I am able to log into the app - with the same credentials as the website - and after adding the Switch to my cart and entering the promo code (yes, I manually typed it and triple checked it is correct), it posts a message that the code was not applied to the item in the cart. Still waiting to receive the promo code for the gift card, over a week after I was supposed to be able to redeem both offers.
Based on the growing number of people who have posted about these redemption issues, I suspect this will be another case for a class action lawsuit.

tish819, let's figure out what's going on with those smart glasses. Just to be sure, was the promotion for 5G Home Internet or for a Verizon FIOS service?
