Back in October of 2023, we got Home Internet Plus and there was a promo about receiving either a gift card or a home pod. I contacted support back in October asking how to redeem this and they said we had to wait I believe 60 days with active internet service to redeem it. So I waited. The 60+ days have passed. On January 8, 2024 I received this email:

It is now 3-4+ weeks since I received this email. On January 29-30, I contacted support asking what was going on and why I haven't received any follow-up emails on this issue. The rep told me this:
1) "Wait until 2/5/2024 to receive it, if you haven't come back to support"
2) "Leave this chat open (Don't click end chat) so that we can resume the chat and you won't have to re-explain your issue to another agent"
Now today, 2/5/2024, no email, still. I go back to open chat, and like I had predicted, the chat auto-closed and I had to re-iterate my problem to a new agent. The agent, like the past few I've spoken to, give me inconsistent replies and support to my issue. This agent told me they'd like me to buy an accessory, then they'd re-credit me/refund the charge to my bill once the charge went through in the amount of the gift card. I thought that was ridiculous and I declined because I do NOT trust Verizon to follow through with this nor do I need some gimmicky way to receive my promo. I just want my $333 gift card as promised. It's been around 5 months now since I've activated my Home Internet Plus with consistent payments, and I still DO NOT have my promo.
So I will be submitting a complaint to the FTC if this isn't addressed.
