I ordered 5G Home Internet Plus on the 18th of December through the Verizon App for the promotion of an Xbox Series X, $100 Verizon Gift Card, and $200 Amazon Gift Card. My order was ready next day so I went to pick it up in store and set it up same day. I received an email saying Congrats on having 5G Home Internet and saying about qualifying for the promotion but no info on how to actually redeem. I have been in over 15 chats with agents and everytime have told me different things. First someone told me that I had to wait for their system to update to send me an email. Another told me I had to wait 5-7 days. The 3rd one told me I had to wait 2 weeks. Can you guess what the next one told me? They said I had to have the service active 60 days before I can redeem. I quickly called the agent out and told him in the ToS it says I have to redeem "within 60 days of activation" if not I would be ineligible. The agent quickly tried to cover his mini formation by saying I could have to wait up to 60 days for it. Still didn't make since. Now Everytime I chat with an agent I'm just getting the run around with some just blatantly ending the chat. As far as I'm aware either every Verizon support employee doesn't know what their talking about or there set up to lie to wait you out till you aren't eligible for the promotion anymore. If anyone has had luck with how to actually redeem the promotion or what is the actual procedure for getting it please lmk.

I have no way to redeem my promotional offers. I have no tile on the my Verizon app and no email to redeem it either.

I know I am still waiting for portions of this promotion myself, and we are here to help. Most of these of these offers can be claimed via a tile on My Veirzon under the "Make the most of your Plan" section. What do you see when you check this section on My Verizon?

I have the exact same issue. Set up just a few days ahead of you and have spent hours on the phone with various agents all who seem to think they've submitted a ticket that is going to fix it. No sign of any of the promos yet.

Hi,

I am also waiting for XBOX email or message and the Verizon $100 gift card.  I was able to redeem the Amazon gift card without any issue.  I activated the home internet plus account on December 14th. I called customer service mid-January and was told to keep an eye out for an email or notification for the XBOX and the Verizon gift card but the 60 day limit is coming up for me on February 14th. Do I need to call customer service again or can someone here help me out?

No ma'am, I replaced Spectrum internet with Verizon Home 5g Plus but did not have any other Verizon service. In fact, it took about 3 weeks to get access to the My Verizon app due to not having a Verizon cell phone number, I had to wait for snail mail to receive temporary password to log in. The main reason I signed up for the Home 5g Plus were the incentives of the XBOX and the gift cards. As of yet I have not received any links or emails to redeem the XBOX offer or the $100 Verizon gift card offer.  I was able to redeem the Amazon gift card offer without any issues as that was the only offer that showed up on the app.  Customer service advised me to wait a bit longer for the other offers to show up but as of today they have not.  My activation date was December 14th or 15th and the 60 day window is February 14th or 15th as per the TOS of the December XBOX promotion offers.

I'm happy you joined our services, and for sure we want you to be able to benefit from the different promotions you qualified for. You can redeem those various promotions via My Verizon or our rebate site. 

 

To redeem the VZ Gift Card, you can submit for that via our Simple Rebate site here: https://www.yourdigitalrebatecenter.com/#!/ On that page youโ€™ll enter the purchase date of your 5G Home and the promo code HOME100NOV23 (that is the current promo code). After that is accepted youโ€™ll be asked to enter the following information; email address & confirmation, the number assigned to your 5G Home. You can find that under account details in My Verizon. Confirm that number, and then your first and last name. You then submit all that. Once you have a confirmed submission, you should receive the VZ Gift Card via email within 8-weeks of submission. 

 

For the VZ gift card, I recommend using what I outlined above to redeem it. As for the Amazon and Xbox ones, those appear in My Verizon. If you sign-in, I'd recommend doing it on a browser, then after arriving on the main page scroll down to the 'Make the Most of your Plans' section. There will be a tile there to redeem the Amazon gift card there and the Xbox offer. Prior to doing that, I also recommend checking and verifying your email address on My Verizon as well, as that's used to send you the gift card.


Please check out that section of My Verizon, and let me know if you're seeing the tile to redeem the Amazon reward and the Xbox offer.

Big thank you to Natasha and John who have helped me so far. I had already redeemed the Amazon gift card and just finished the process for the Verizon gift card, has been verified and am waiting for delivery (Feb 12th).  I am still not seeing the redeem link for the XBOX on My Verizon "Make the Most of your plans" on my laptop using Chrome browser.

What steps can I take next to redeem the XBOX offer?

Dec 26th, 2024 - I was excited to hear Verizon was on track to upgrade systems in my area to handle 5g from 4g Lte.
I selected the offer via the Verizon website to receive home internet (4gLte) that was updatable to 5g once it was added to my area.  (I currently have Charter/Spectrum) The Holiday promotion was for an Amazon Echo Show 10 OR $200 Amazon Gift Card and as a BONUS addition to the offer, a free XBOX Series X.  I Chatted in great deal with the sales team and confirmed all of this, including the 60 days wait time and the 180 days of required service to accept the XBOX Series X. My order was created, I received an order invoice and waited for my equipment. After waiting over a week and never receiving anything other than an order confirmation, I started trying to reach out to customer care and I was told to wait additional days, due to holiday related delays. I called back after almost a month of waiting.

January 23rd, 2024 - The representative "Jacqueline" said there was no order in the system and it had been cancelled. I thanked her for the information and was about to hang up when she said she would speak to leadership to see if she could honor the offer because it had expired but I had an order withing the promo time frame. She proceeded to set up a new order and told me she got approval to honor the offer, that I would have to reconnect with her once the equipment arrived to activate my service and adjust my account to reflect the XBOX Offer.

At the time she had generated an order with a target gift card attached to It and I told here that was not what I wanted. She assured me that she could follow up and make right the offer I had originally accepted. She proceeded to send me a text from a Verizon registered phone number and I confirmed this by texting her back with a reply to which she confirmed. I have not been able to connect with "Jackie" since the phone call and have since, spoken to two other representatives about the issue. The last representative was via chat. She told me that I could not have that offer and that I had to choose a different offer. I told her to just put in a cancel order and I will send back the equipment, but she asked me to wait a bit longer before cancelling for a possible resolution.

I am connecting the Gateway to my home currently and I received a bill for $80 due by Feb 14th and I have not had service connected, as I was waiting for this order to be resolved. I also have a bill for Dec-Jan for $80 for the previous order that was cancelled in my email. I need someone to reach out to me to provide guidance an help resolve this please.

Iโ€™m having the same problem, I ordered the 5Gplus and pickup my internet box. Called and asked to see how I needed to claim my Xbox. They said 30 days. I look at my emails and it show I can claim the Gift card but there is no Xbox claim. Phone representative didnโ€™t even know that I could get an Xbox. This has been a nightmareโ€™s. Countless hours on the phone and get a different answer every time.
