I was told that I would be getting a free Xbox series S along with a headset, controller, and $50 dollar gift card. I get the email for the headset, controller and gift card. I called and asked them about the Xbox and they said that was never a promotion. Just 2 weeks ago a lady told me that I would be getting an Xbox too. So now I’m getting a controller, headset, and gift card for a console I don’t even own.

Hey there, Bscarroll, we want to make sure you have accurate info regarding the Xbox offer. Can you let us know what was purchased in order to qualify and when your purchase was completed? Were you seeing the Xbox offer advertised at that time? After your order was placed, did your email confirmation show the offers that you qualified for?

I have the 2 phone lines and at home Internet plan. I signed up late December and I was told on the phone that I qualified for the holiday bundle since I got home internet. I was told that after 30 days I would get an email to confirm my Xbox and accessories. I got the email for the accessories, but never the Xbox. I have called 3 times now and I have been told that I will be getting an Xbox. But I haven’t heard or seen anything else about it.

I was also promised an Xbox, a controller, a headset, and a $50 gift card. I called during the redemption. And they said I had to wait two billing cycles. Of course, after two billing cycles, the promotion ends I’ve spent a total of a whole day on the phone in the stores in the chat trying to get this redeemed and I’m getting sorry the promotion ended… based on the website, I called initially within the redemption. And they did not help me. Now, there is nothing they can do.
1. They were able to see notes on the conversation where the promotion was discussed. Then when I got escalated, they said they could not see where the promotion was discussed.
2. they said they could not tell which emails were sent from Verizon. Once escalated, she could tell me what emails were sent, and that there were no emails regarding the promotion. The excuse then was there was no email tied to that product when there is an email tied to the account… Still don’t understand that. They claim it was probably a tech issue, but aren’t they the tech company?
sad for a company I’ve been with so long… Starting to research other places. Good luck with yours!!
