I, like 100s ,if not 1000s of others on this community who have used this promotion, am not able to find a way to redeem my offer. 

It would be nice if the email telling you how to redeem actually worked. It leads you to web pages link titles that don't exist.

We're sorry to hear that you're also having trouble redeeming the Amazon.com offer, u000top2. Normally, the email would send you to a section in My Verizon under Make the Most of your Plan, where there would be a redemption tile. What do you see under this heading if you sign in to My Verizon? Is this for 5G/LTE Home service or Fios service?

  1. Sign in to your My Verizon account.
  2. Find the “Exclusive Home offers” tile under "Make the most of your plans" and click it to get started.
  3. Choose your desired offer and follow the prompts to redeem.
  4. Enjoy your offer.
 

Yes. That is the problem. It was in the two emails. There are no sections labeled "EXCLUSIVE HOME OFFERS" or  "MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR PLANS", on either my phone app or PC web app. I am logged in via the Verizon Home Internet device.

Searching produces no results. I know I'm not alone in this issue. There are 10 pages of complaints. Please provide the fix your group has provided to many others.

As I said in my last reply" I am logged in via the Verizon Home Internet device" so I have the 5G home service.

Interesting that I have gathered 3-4 others on my discussion with the same problem and also commenting on the lack of real answers on this community.

We would love to take a closer look at your situation. Have you already tried to claim the promotion via My Verizon? Check out the steps. 

 

1. Sign in to My Verizon (make sure you do this on the website not the app).

2. Navigate to the My Verizon account page.

3. Click on Get Xbox Series X on us redemption tile under "Make the Most of Your Plans".

Result: The customer is taken to the page to redeem the Xbox Series X.

4. Do the following under the Xbox Series X console redemption tile:


Review and accept the Terms & Conditions by checking the box.

Click Select.

Result: You are taken to the Cart with the Xbox Series X console with the promotion applied and the price of the Xbox Series X console is shown..
5. Select Shipping information.
Note: Delivery of the promotional device may take up to 6 weeks. Advise customers that paying for expedited shipping will not decrease this shipping time frame.


6. Submit order.

Did I miss your answer? 


Can you explain why you are sending emails to my account email to claim my promotion but my account page does not show the section that takes me to the redeem link.

So one group knows I am due a promotion, but another group is preventing me from getting it. That is a big SNAFU.

How do I get to the person who resolves all these other exact problems for other customers by sending a PM with the required link?

I'm in the same sorry boat -- no promised 5g Amazon $200 gift card

-- the latest that I heard from Verizon "customer service" is that now I should receive it in six to eight weeks. 

And after reading some of the other responses I'm wondering if this promo will work at all assuming I get a code, website/link or actual card

Vrzn "customer service" reps in this online forum of mostly non-answers, ask the same revolving set of questions (ie: did you connect?) that they could easily answer for themselves by checking the customer's  account. I guess they think we're  nothing but morons.

Verizon's lack of action to help customers in the hope they will just dissolve and forget the promise made to them, coupled with their super slow action that only seems to occur after multiple complaints (6 to 8 weeks to receive the promo???? seriously!) borders between pathetic and criminal bait & switch.  Many of us are long time Verizon customers that Verizon prefers to take for granted.

I’m in the same situation and I’m still seeing ads for this promo. Most of comments on the adds are people who haven’t revived gift card promo promises ranging from 3 months for 2 years. I’ve gotten in contact with customer service 4 times and supposedly have an open case of which I was supposed to hear back from someone in 24-48 hours, but it’s now been a week and I’ve heard nothing

A little searching on the old googletron, as well as on this forum, brings up loads of folks questioning and complaining about not receiving, or not be able to activate, their promised promotions.

The company sure doesn't waste any time getting you stuff that affects their bottom line, however when it comes to coming across with the associated promotions and come-ons for that stuff . . . . not so much.

 SUCCESS as of today Feb 7,  2024 the email stating my Amazon $200 gift card for enrolling & connecting to Vrzn 5g ARRIVED.

Clicked a couple of links and the $200 Amazon credit was immediately applied to my Amazon account, which I promptly spent. 

So it took about 4 weeks from the time I initiated complaints to Verizon, about not receiving  the credit, to receive the email and $200 credit

It is my hope that others who hvnt received their promised Vrzn promos receive them very soon and without problems.
