5G Home Internet Extremely Slow

I have been lucky to have fast 5G home internet speeds from Verizon for over six months with very little problems. Something changed this week with my service. My speeds are less than 5mb and even down to less than 1 mb. Called support several times, tried online support chats several times, they don’t care.. I can’t even browse the internet a lot of the time anymore. I work from home so I will have to find a new internet provider. I see in this forum that everyone else runs into this same problem and they also don’t get the help they need to fix it.

Having slow speeds is never a easy experience. Let's see whats going on? What service was this for wireless or Fios? What zip code are you in?-Joe

I'm having the same problem. That's why I'm here. I make production music and sometimes have to download a LOT of large files for my instruments. In production music world, we don't have time to wait a whole day for a download.

I did the trouble-shooting process and found out it was a receiver/tower proximity issue. I moved the receiver closer in the direction of the closest tower, and now I have normal signal. I did have my receiver where my computer was right in between. My issue is fixed. I hope yours is!
