I have tried for 2 months to access the $350 Samsung credit promised after 2 months of Verizon 5G home internet. Who is trying to get Verizon to honor their 5G Home Internet promotions? Are you experiencing resistance to honoring these promotions - e.g. delay/never mailing of gift cards, inability to access discounts & credits, website issues? Most on this board are here to complain about something but please answer if you have had success in retaining your promotion.
I spent almost 2 hours on Verizon Chat with 3 Verizon agents. I was switched from tech support to customer service. After an hour I thought things were being ironed out - but that CS agent disappeared and a new CS agent engaged, saying it was a glitch. After I repeated EVERYTHING again, the chat line just disappeared within a few minutes. I told them that they are about to lose a 14 year customer. I would think they would CALL ME BACK or at least try to reconnect somehow.
It looks like Verizon is intentionally disrupting their website, ghosting customers during calls and chats, and trying to string out the timely acceptance of these promotions. There are far too many accounts of this happening for it to be a technical glitch. Iโm skeptical that companies would be this brazen but I am very suspicious that Verizon is putting up roadblocks to honoring these promotions. Add to that, I am having all kinds of problems with Verizonโs Home 5G Internet โ Hulu keeps asking me to establish my home address. Apparently this is a Verizon issue with changing IP address for their system. Now itโs happening 4X a month and I have to call to get it reset every month. I'm running out of patience.
Just in case anyone else has this problem, I solved it by using Google Chrome instead of Firefox. I apologize to Verizon for being so obtuse about this.
