Amazon Gift Card for Home Internet

I recently (March 2025) signed up for Verizon Home Internet and part of the promotion was a $200 Amazon Gift Card. I have not received any information on how to register for or access this Gift Card. Please indicate where to go to receive this benefit that was part of my new service. Thank you

I have spend MONTHS on chat and on the phone trying to get my Amazon Gift Card for signing up for home internet. I never received a notification to sign up for the offer. Someone finally helped, but signed me up for a Verizon rebate, not the Amazon card. Got another person who switched it the card, but the date changed, so it probably looks after the 60 day window. It has been a debacle, a waste of hours of my time, and still no card. It all feels very fraudulent, especially because this forum and Reddit have so many people in the same boat. Especially maddening because when I was setting up home Internet they added a line for the Internet and DELETED my cell phone line. I had to spend four hours on my laptop on the chat using my neighbor's Internet to get my phone service back. 11-year customer seriously considering switching services.

im in the same boat… i’ve talked to numerous representatives on the phone & no one, except for one, even knew what i was talking about. i’m pleased with the home internet, but the way they got me to try it seems a bit dishonest, so i may just keep my at&t. i don’t understand how there is only one person out of about 5 who even knew the amazon gift card was part of the promotion. they said it would be in my inbox that week & even told me what the subject line would say so i could look out for it. however, i still haven’t seen a thing.

I signed up for Verizon’s $100 Amazon Gift Card promo (ends 6/30/25). The terms clearly say:

“Card emailed within 24-48 hours of registration.”

That’s the pitch they use when you’re signing up. But when I reached out to customer service, they told me:

“The reward will be delivered electronically within 7 to 10 business days.”

That’s a pretty big difference... 2 days vs. up to 2 weeks. Honestly feels like a bait-and-switch. If the real wait time is 7–10 days, that’s what should be advertised up front. I was waiting to make a purchase on Amazon because I was expecting this to arrive rather quickly given that is what the offer stated when they asked me to switch back to Fios.

Here's the full text of the offer:

$100 Amazon Gift Card: Offer ends 6.30.25. Must install and maintain eligible Fios services in good standing for 65 days and register for the gift card w/in 60 days thereafter, or by no later than 12.2.25, whichever is first. Card emailed within 24-48 hours of registration. Other card terms and conditions apply.

Restrictions apply, see amazon.com/gc-legal. Verizon reserves the right to charge back the value of the promotional Amazon Gift Card if eligible service is canceled w/in 180 days.

Signed up in August with same promo…$100 Amazon gift card…took screenshots…still have not had any notifications, emails, messages, etc. of the rebate. A real switch and bait. Luring in customers with promotions and not fulfilling their promises is unprofessional. Not any customer rep knows what I’m talking about and it’s frustrating. Considering just switching to another provider. I don’t like to be tricked into signing up.

I signed up for Verizon Home Internet on August 1, 2025, and the promotion at the time included an Amazon gift card. It has now been 46 days since my activation, but I have not received the gift card yet.
