Hello I have 5g home plus 300down but I get bad ping in games the speeds are fine but not the latency. My old provider gave 3mbps of speed and I used to get under 40ms. I tried using Ethernet and no change.

I would look up the signal strength in the router page.
Then I would ping the default gateway and see what the ms is there (Should be 1 or 2ms) on ethernet or not.
You did not mention the ping you are getting either on the device - just it wasn't good. Could you be more specific?
Speed does not equal latency. My backup DSL is 7/1 and it's much better for games than Verizon or any wireless ISP. Wired connections are going to be better in that regard.

We definitely want to make sure that your home internet is working properly. Please tell us, is this impacting all games? Does this happen during specific times of the day? ~Geo
