Hello,
I had a NCQ 5G Gateway that was horrible. Verizon concluded that the device was faulty and issued me a replacement. I received and set up the replacement today only to come to one problem; my IPV4 is now in California, while I am in New York City. This has made latency terrible. I receive 128ms average to 1.1.1.1 and 134ms to 8.8.8.8 (on the old, 'faulty', gateway I still received 45ms.) I am aware this is some sort of mobile hotspot type device, but from New York to California seems ABSURD. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Support seems absolutely clueless, as they say there is nothing they can do, and I just have to wait for a new IP address. I have factory reset the device at least 12 times now and I am just being placed all around California, From El Segundo, San Marcos, Irvine, and the cycle repeats.

We're sorry to hear about the problems you're having with the latency on that new replacement device, and we want to make sure we're doing everything we can to help you. It sounds like you've already tried some troubleshooting which is great. We recommend going here and finding your 5G Home device: https://www.verizon.com/support/devices/#home There's some great troubleshooting you can try in additional to resetting it. Please let us know how it goes.
