Both Cellular (in SOS) and VZ Gateway Internet issues 2/3/25 and 2/5/25 near Southport, NC

On 2/3/25 at around 5:30pm ET I suddenly lost access: Both Cellular (iphone in SOS mode) and VZ Gateway Internet. Unable to make calls, use computers to access the internet or use any internet connected devices.
I drove to the Verizon store, they confirmed there was an outage but could not provide any details. The issue cleared up within a couple of hours, yet it seems there is no report confirming that the outage occurred, or indicating what the cause was. Many neighbors who use VZ had the same issue during the same timeframe, so I know it's not an issue with my devices.
This morning, 2/5/25 all my computers and internet connected devices are disconnecting and buffering. Again no indication from VZ that there is an outage. Clearly, there are issues. I work from home and cannot afford to lose the internet and certainly rely on my cell phone for emergency communications, I couldn't even use that as a hotspot earlier since all the cellular was not working.
Anyone else have any idea what is going on?
