I called Verizon to cancel my 5g home internet plus after less than 30 days. To my surprise, they charged a prorated amount plus the next month's charges on my new bill. This was supposed to be free if returned within 30 days. Apparently, their accounting charged me anyway.
They are telling me they will refund it on my next bill. This was not the arrangement they told me when it was sold to me. It was supposed to be free for the first month.
They just sent me a preview of the following bill and I am only getting 1/3 refunded. I hope someone from Verizon is monitoring this forum as this is really outrageous.

We definitely want to ensure you get your refund per the 30 Day Money Back Garuntee. you can find the full details on the refund here in the FAQs https://www.verizon.com/support/5g-home-faqs/ If you have completed the steps required and the 30-60 day processing time has expired with no refund please check your Direct messages and respond. I am sending one now so we can work together to ensure this gets resolved for you.
