Cannot Redeem Nintendo Switch or 200 dollar gift card just like everyone else

I received two emails to redeem my nintendo switch and 200 dollar gift card/samsung  Chromebook.  When you go to the my verizon app, the tiles they state should be there are not.  But you already know this because literally everyone is having this problem.

Hello, EBondatti. Thanks so much for this info. Help is here. There was an issue for some customers with regard to redeeming the promotion in question. Please be sure to clear cache and cookies, relaunch your My Verizon account as the tile should show available. Please keep us posted if you have any questions.

Following up with this so everyone can see what I was told via call. I called Verizon today and was told that apparently the redemption timeline is no longer 65 days and is in fact 5-6 months.

I was lied to, and the tiles disappeared because they can no longer fulfill this promotion in the timeline they originally communicated.

I was told my request was escalated, but I will still have to wait over a month for a solution. Looks like I am going to start shopping for a new internet provider with a lower monthly cost and will likely not wait around for this promo to roll out. Classic example of a company writing checks that customers cannot cash. I also won't get a response to this, because they know its true!

Run. Hours of phone calls and chats where each person assures me they will solve the problem but alas.

I’m on my 5th or 6th chat with Verizon and everyone swears they will help me but every single person has escalated the problem and I still have no resolution!  I am going to report them for it . No one wants to get it done for me and I’m so done!

I think I’m going to, as well. They also made the phrase b a i t & s w i t c h one of their “bad words” so clearly there are a lot of people feeling this way from their promotion. I just talked to a customer service rep again and they said try again in 3-5 days… how is that helpful? If we were told 65 days, why wouldn’t we be able to use it when we receive the email that tells us to redeem now.

Same problem, after months of phone call and passed around through many customer service and technical support. Nothing. Now that they sent the email that I can redeem my  promotion it doesnt work. Prompts an error. we were lied to. Verizon is frustrating and a h3ll hole to work with. Haven’t had a good experience this past 4 months with them. Made about 20 calls just to get passed around while explaining the same thing over and over again without resolving the issue.

Same issue for me. Customer service is of no help. They each respond with a different reason of why it doesn’t work. They also start every conversation with don’t worry, I will resolve your issue and literally do nothing… I guess as a company they were never taught under sell over deliver.

Same problem/ I’ve called and called and they said it was supposed to be delivered and I have yet to get it.

Yeah, sure. This has to be an automated response. Why even have Verizon customer service responses in this forum. None of you do anything to resolve issues.

I’m also having the same issue, on the phone for 2hrs and they are creating another “escalation form” what a joke. Verizon provided false advertising and will be taking legal action soon if this promotion doesn’t get resolved.

HI there,   you can add me to the list of confused users.  I have cleared all cache, deleted all browser history, tried logging in on my Verizon mobile phone as well as my laptop and I cannot 

  1. Find the "Nintendo Switch, on us" tile under "Make the most of your plans" and click to get started.  
  2. There is also no tile for the Target gift card. 

I am currently at DAY 66 of the 5g home internet, works way better than my Att Uverse internet, so the service is great and have no complaints, but I would like my Nintendo switch and Target gift card as promised.   Thanks for your time
