Connecting WNC CR200A to a wireless router

I currently have a cable modem and I have connected a TPLink Archer 7 wireless router. The router doles out the dhcp addresses.  DHCP address gateway of the router is 192.168.0.1

I just got a WNC CR200A. Noticed that  it has a DHCP server and this gateway is at 192.168.1.1

I connected the WAN port of the TPLink router to the LAN port of 5G WNC CR200A. I am not going through to the internet.

I am not a fluent with network settings. Should  I turn off DHCP server on TPLink router and set the default gateway on the TPLink router to 192.168.1.1 to make this work. So now the IP's are handed out by WNC CR200A.

You should use IP passthrough instead, and then once it's set up, you plug into WAN2 of the router.

What's the end goal of using the Archer instead?  the CR200A is more advanced then an Archer 7. There's no AX support, and no 6GHz on the Archer 7.  I would just sell it and use the built in wifi in the CR200A.
