Home Depot Gift Card promo

I have had NOTHING but issues trying to claim my Home Depot gift card after purchasing home wifi.  I have spent well over 5hrs on the phone.  Each time the rep tells me they will ensure I receive the email link to claim my promo.  I wait the 5 days and receive nothing.  Today, again, I was told the issue will be escalated and will have to wait 5 days for an outcome.  But this time I was told after 5 days, I will receive the gift card in the mail.

This is absolutely absurd and should NOT be this difficult.  Luckily, I am a person that will push the issue.  What happens w/the older generation that does not know how to pursue the issue?

Verizon needs to rectify this issue and make the process easier.  It seems to me that makes it difficult on purpose,

I am having the same issue with a $400 Home Depot promo for Samsung products. I am within the terms of the details, but I have not received any promo code by email or mail. Could you please help?

This promotion is misleading. Home Depot says you have to spend $400 to get $400 off.

I haven't gotten my email either. Not sure what is going on with this. But it appears to be an issue on every single promo they do like this. The promo I was apart of was 200 home depot gift card or nintendo switch. Yet I have seen nothing about it since I switched to Verison for my internet.. Have been considering calling them as well but have been trying to just be patient. I hope you hear from them soon. Based on your comment. I will start pestering them as well.

We were told we would receive an email with our $400 Samsung appliance code 48 hours after we activated. We were told we would have 60 days to claim the code and 6 months to redeem the code. We have been on chat 5 days trying to get someone to help us. We keep getting a different answer each time. Today we were on chat for over 2 hours and passed around to 5 or 6 different agents. No one could help us. They said we would receive the email in 60 days but the fine print says the code has to be redeemed within 60 days of activation. So how does that work. Very frustrated and mad that Verizon is not getting the $400 to us. That $400 is the only reason we decided to go with that plan. We have no idea who to contact in order to get what we signed up for after 5 days of chats and the issue was not resolved.

Thank you Lauren. We were told we would receive both promos today. We did not receive anything. This time they told us to wait another thirty days. Very disappointed and frustrated with this situation.

I am having the same issue! Long term Verizon customer who moved my internet for the $400 Samsung promo and have not seen any way to redeem the promo. It’s a bit disheartening to be googling the issue and coming across many other Verizon customers who have had the same concern. Has anyone gotten a resolution?

Hi there Joe - I signed up on August 9th and have been told multiple times by reps that I qualify.  It is the 5g home internet service plus and I specifically signed up for the plus to gain access to the promo. Still waiting for the code after multiple calls and “escalations”.

When talking to Verizon in the store  and on the phone, they have no record of any gift cards.  The gift card was a big influence into why we went with Verizon home internet. VERY disappointed.
