In July of 2024, I went to a Verizon store for an upgrade for two phones and was sold into trying their 5G internet. For the promotion I was promised a $200 Home Depot gift card or sunglasses, I chose the gift card. It’s now the middle of November and I still have not received an email or a prompt on the app (which I was told multiple times I would receive both notifications) for said gift card. I’ve called customer care two separate times and each time they have assured me that it would be added to my account within 7-10 days. It’s been another month and still nothing. Verizon, can you please make right on your promises? I’m tempted to return the whole package due to deceptive advertising.

I cannot use the link because I was never given a promotional code at the time of purchase. I purchased two phones at a Verizon store and they sold me on 5G internet with a promotion of either sunglasses or a $200 Home Depot gift card that I would receive in 3 months. I’ve never received any email or offer on the app to claim the gift card.

Hi Lauren,
I still have not received any further information and received a text saying that my ticket was closed. Still nothing is in “my offers” and I have not received an email or any other notification about the gift card.

It’s been six months and still nothing has been done. Verizon was supposed to call me today about my open case and no phone call. I received a text saying that my case was closed. It’s not. This has been the most frustrating experience and I still have not received any gift card from Home Depot. Can someone please provide me with an explanation?
