I cancelled Home internet on 4/22/2024 and the agent told me Verizon would send a box for the router to return. 5days passed, I called and they said the box would arrive soon. 10 days past, I called them and found nothing was sent so the box was ordered. Now 5 more days passed, nothing yet. Verizon initially said if I didn’t return the box within 30days (now 15 days in), they will charge me about $250. I can’t even log in to my account anymore even though the last agent told me the only way I could check the status of the box online since she couldn’t give me the tracking number. And the agent also told me that Verizon stores wouldn’t accept the router. Does anyone have any idea what else I should do? I know I should call Verizon again, but agents at call centers do nothing more than following the instructions on their computers. So I assume it won’t solve the problem.
