Home5g Pass Through With Unifi Gateway

I have a ASK-NCQ1338FA model 5G home network router and am trying to setup bridge mode/pass through in order to use my Unifi Cloud gateway.  I have done this for an older Netgear router in the past but for some reason when I do it with the Unifi gateway I lose Internet connectivity.  If I take the VZ router out of bridge mode and disable the Wifi network the Unifi gateway "works".  I say "works" in quotes because the gateway is behind the VZ router which is not what I want.

I have a Unifi gateway at another location that uses a different Internet provider and I have no problem at all with that setup.

Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong and have a possible solution?

Did you swap to LAN2 once you put it in IP pass through mode?
