I have a net gateway from Verizon ARC – XCI55AX

Does anybody know if you can use a different router to connect to the Verizon router to act as a bridge So that way, you don’t have all the same traffic in the house flip-flopping back-and-forth and not have to have Wi-Fi extenders throughout your house! Looking for anybody that can help! Thanks
