I have not been able to connect MyQ to the Verizon internet also. Is there a solution?
We're sorry to read about the issue with your device connecting to your internet. Here's a link with information on that product: https://support.chamberlaingroup.com/s/article/How-to-Connect-the-Smart-Garage-Hub-to-a-Network ~Peter
As a fellow customer with MyQ working great both, I'd love to try and help you get it going. I've got a some questions to help troubleshoot the basics:
As I said, I'm just a fellow customer that loves the MyQ garage door opener I have. It's always worked very well for me and I'd love to help you get to the same place.
I have multiple MyQ devices and they connect without issue. Most only support 2.4Ghz though. You may also want to attempt a guest/IoT network and connect to that instead as a step.
The missing piece of info may be: You must use a 2.4GHz network with the MyQ Garage Door Opener and any add-ons (e.g., outdoor keypad). Please make sure your Verizon 5G Home Internet Router is configured to run with a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Most home automation products stick to 2.4GHz networks (e.g., MyQ, Blink, Kasa, and many more).
